Symptoms of Long COVID-19
Long COVID can cause a diverse range of symptoms in individuals, indicating that it affects everyone differently based on their existing state of health, unique genetic makeup, and many other factors. This explains why long COVID can be non-existent, mild, or devastating.

Dr. Minkoff is an Infectious Disease Doctor
Dr. Minkoff, MD, helms LifeWorks Wellness Center, has been a highly-experienced infectious disease doctor for over 45 years and is a best-selling author. He is one of the most in-demand speakers in his field.
He has been at the forefront of Functional Medicine for the last 30 years, pioneering innovative and effective treatments for chronic infectious diseases that conventional Medicine had no real solutions for.
Functional Medicine Strategies for Treating Long-Haul COVID
Functional Medicine’s approach to treating chronic illnesses like COVID-19 is to find and heal the underlying causes: the infectious agents, plus biological weaknesses and other systemic factors that brought both about the disease and are causing it to persist.
By removing those elements that suppress or weaken the body’s ability to fight off the infection, and strengthening the body with supportive therapies and treatments, we expect most people will recover from long COVID.
A Whole-Body Approach
Our whole-body approach to chronic diseases, like long COVID, is entirely different from traditional Western medicine, which often seeks to suppress symptoms through various medications.
Long COVID-19 follows many of the disease patterns we have observed in other chronic infectious diseases. Thus our COVID long-hauler treatment program is based on a highly refined, effective infectious disease treatment protocol used to treat other very difficult infectious diseases.
Our multidisciplinary team, using a whole-body approach, along with an arsenal of powerful therapies, helps patients recover from some of the most challenging diseases of our time.

We hope that patients will be able to decide which doctors they want to see and what treatments they prefer one day. Until that time, our services are not covered by insurance.
Patients who have recovered from COVID-19 and are still experiencing medical problems may be referred by their primary care physician, or you can self-refer if you don’t have a regular doctor. We’ll match you with a LifeWorks Wellness Center practitioner.
